# API Integration

From Settings > Apps, click Telegram to install and activate the app.

Once the app is installed, visit https://t.me/botfather.

Follow the steps below based on your situation:

• If you already created a Telegram bot:
  Type the command /mybots, open your bot, and click API Token.

• If you never created a Telegram bot:
  Type the command /newbot to create a new bot. The BotFather will prompt you to:

  • Enter a name for your bot.
  • Enter a username for your bot.
    Once completed, the BotFather will generate an authentication token.

Copy the token and paste it into Support Desk > Telegram > Token, then click Synchronize now.

Note: Your website must use HTTPS (SSL certificate). HTTP is not supported.

You're done!
All messages sent to your Telegram bot will now appear in the conversation admin area of Support Desk.
